1. Scope of Data Collection
DemandAgri collects two categories of data: Institutional User Data (Cooperatives/Agents) and Farmer Data (Members).
- Identity Data: Names, Phone Numbers, Email, and Official NIN/BVN for verified KYC.
- Spatial Data: High-precision GPS coordinates and polygon mapping for farm plots.
- Operational Data: Yield records, production cycles, and credit repayment history.
2. Purpose of Processing
Data is processed to facilitate:
- EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) compliance and due diligence.
- Carbon Credit (VCM) measurement, reporting, and verification.
- Access to climate-smart financing for unbanked smallholders.
- Supply chain traceability from farm to export port.
3. Data Siloing & Privacy
We implement strict multi-tenant isolation. Cooperative Hubs can only access the data of their registered members. Regional Administrators maintain oversight for auditing purposes but do not disclose individual farmer PII to unauthorized third parties.
4. Consent & Authorization
By onboarding a farmer onto the platform, the authorized agent confirms they have obtained explicit consent from the member to share their spatial and identity data for the purposes of institutional certification and market access.
5. Security Infrastructure
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. PII (Personal Identifiable Information) is stored in the DemandAgri Compliance Vault with restricted regional access.
